Usage, ingredients and FAQs

Why rock salt?

Rock salt is a natural mineral salt long favoured in bath products. Dissolved in warm water it softens the water and offers a relaxing bathing experience at the end of the day. It suits anyone on their feet all day, anyone whose feet feel tired and anyone who wants to turn a bath into a ritual of rest in particular.

Scent options

  • Lavender — the classic choice for an evening bath and for unwinding
  • Mint — cooling, especially refreshing in a foot soak
  • Mandarin — an uplifting citrus profile
  • Bombom — a sweet, soft scent

How to use

For a hand or foot soak:

  1. Fill a bowl with warm water.
  2. Add about 1 teaspoon of bath salt and let it dissolve.
  3. Soak your hands or feet for 10–15 minutes.
  4. Rinse and dry; you can then apply a moisturiser.

How often: Once a week is recommended.

Frequently asked questions

How much salt should I use?
For a hand or foot soak, a bowl of warm water and about 1 teaspoon is enough. In the bath you can increase the amount to suit the volume of water.

Can I use it every day?
Once a week is recommended. A salt bath can dry the skin, so applying a moisturiser afterwards matters if you use it more often.

Can it be used in the shower?
Because the product works by dissolving in water, it suits uses where water collects, such as a bath or a bowl. If you want to use it to rub the body in the shower, apply a very small amount, gently.

Which is better for foot odour and tiredness?
Because of its cooling profile, Mint is the option often chosen for foot soaks. For unwinding in the evening, Lavender is a better fit.
