Keratin Shampoo 400 ml

Keratin is the protein that forms the hair shaft's natural structure. Colour, heat and mechanical wear put the hair's keratin structure under strain over time; the hair starts to look dull, brittle and fragile. Hydrolysed keratin is keratin broken down to a lower molecular weight, so it attaches to the hair's surface more easily. This formula aims to balance the keratin the hair loses over time and to help the hair shaft look more resilient against external factors.

1. Wet your hair with warm water.
2. Apply the shampoo to the scalp and lengths and massage gently.
3. Leave for 2–3 minutes; this gives the keratin time in contact with the hair's surface.
4. Rinse with plenty of water.

How often: 2–3 times a week. Tip: On coloured hair, using warm water and applying a heat protectant before heat styling helps preserve the colour and the texture.

I have had a keratin treatment — will it spoil the colour or the treatment?
The formula contains no sulphates; sulphate-free shampoos are generally the option chosen after a keratin treatment. We also recommend following any specific instructions your salon has given you.

Will it lift my hair colour?
No. The product contains no lightening component. Being free of SLS/SLES can help the colour last longer.

Does it repair split ends?
Split ends cannot be permanently mended; the only solution is to have them cut. Keratin formulas improve the look of the ends and help reduce further breakage.

Should I use it with a conditioner?
On damaged hair it is recommended. After shampooing you can apply conditioner to the ends and then a leave-in treatment (the Lacinia Keratin Milk, for example).
