Apple & Raspberry Vinegar Shampoo 300 ml

A vinegar rinse is one of the oldest methods in hair care. Vinegar helps maintain the scalp's oil–moisture balance and supports the gentle clearing of dead skin. By looking after the hair's natural pH balance it helps keep the hair's surface smooth; a smooth surface reflects light more evenly, so the hair looks shinier.

1. Massage some shampoo into wet hair.
2. Leave for 2–3 minutes.
3. Rinse with plenty of water.
4. Manufacturer's advice: repeat this 2–3 times at each wash.

Note: With vinegar shampoos, using warm rather than hot water gives a better result for shine.

Does a vinegar smell stay in the hair?
No. The formula is fragranced; no vinegar smell remains in the hair after rinsing.

Yes. Because vinegar formulas help smooth the hair's surface, they are often chosen for shine on coloured hair.

Why am I advised to wash two or three times?
That is the manufacturer's advice on the pack. The first wash lifts the residue on the surface; on the second, the formula spends longer in contact with the hair and scalp.

Does a protein shampoo make hair stiff?
Overusing protein can create a feeling of stiffness on some hair types. If your hair is sensitive to protein, balance it with a moisturising conditioner and use it less often.
