Chitosan & Aloe Vera Hair Serum

• Chitosan — a naturally derived polysaccharide; used in hair care formulas for the film it forms on the hair's surface
• Aloe vera — a botanical extract known for its soothing and moisturising effect
• Lactic acid — a component that looks after the scalp's pH balance
• Panthenol (vitamin B5) — a humectant and soothing agent
• Sodium lactate — one of the natural moisturising factors

Together these components aim to moisturise and relieve the scalp, ease the feeling of sensitivity and give the hair vitality. The formula also looks after the sebum balance of the scalp.

1. Wash your hair and towel off the moisture.
2. Open the ampoule carefully.
3. Part your hair and drop the contents onto the scalp.
4. Massage with your fingertips for 1–2 minutes. Do not rinse.

What is ampoule care like?
An ampoule is an intensive care format prepared in a single-use dose. Each application uses a fresh, measured dose; it is applied as a course, within a set programme. An opened ampoule is not kept.

How is it different from the Herbal Complex serum?
Herbal Complex focuses on oiliness and the look of dandruff; this product works on the moisture and soothing side. If your scalp is oily, Herbal Complex suits better; if it is dry and sensitive, Chitosan & Aloe Vera.

I have a shellfish allergy — is chitosan a problem?
Chitosan can be obtained from shellfish in some production methods. If you have a shellfish allergy, check the ingredient list on the pack before use and consult your doctor if necessary.
