About Exfoliants
The Exfoliator collection consists of three products. Exfoliation is a weekly care step that helps remove dead cells from the surface of the skin; it lets the serums and moisturisers applied afterwards spread more easily over the skin.
Grains or gel?
- Apricot Kernel Scrub Cream 100 ml — a grain-based (mechanical) exfoliator. For those who want a physical scrubbing sensation; favoured on normal skin and skin that feels thicker.
- Rice Extract Peeling Gel 150 ml — a granule-free gel. Applied to the skin and rolled with the fingertips, it gathers together with dead cells and lifts away from the surface. A gentle option.
- Aloe Vera Peeling Gel 150 ml — the same granule-free approach, with a more soothing feel thanks to its aloe vera content.
How, and how often?
Use once or twice a week on cleansed, damp skin. Avoid the eye area, do not scrub for longer than 1–2 minutes and rinse with lukewarm water. Follow with toner, serum and moisturiser. On the days you exfoliate, do not use products containing acids or vitamin A the same evening.
Sun after exfoliating
Skin whose surface has been renewed is more sensitive to the sun. During a period when you are exfoliating, sunscreen must be used during the day.
Exfoliators are cosmetic products; they are not medicinal products. They should not be used on sunburnt or irritated skin, or where there are open wounds.
