About Sunscreen
Anti-Blemish Sunscreen SPF 50 · 50 ml is a sunscreen in the high-protection class. It is the last step of the daytime side of a skincare routine.
Why use it every day?
Sunscreen is not a product only for the summer months or the beach. If you are following a routine concerned with uneven tone and the look of dark spots, or using brightening products or treatments containing acids, sunscreen is an inseparable part of that routine — unprotected skin works against the very look the routine is aiming for.
The right amount
SPF values are measured in the laboratory using a set amount. The recommended amount for the face is roughly two finger-lengths of product; applying less gives a result below the protection level stated on the label. The neck, nape and area behind the ears are often skipped.
When to reapply
- Every 2 hours during time spent in the sun
- Immediately after swimming, sweating and towelling dry
- On a day spent indoors, a morning application is usually enough
Where it sits in the order
Cleanse → tone → serum → moisturiser → sunscreen. If you are going to wear make-up, apply sunscreen before it and wait a few minutes for it to absorb.
This is a cosmetic product. Sunscreen alone is not enough: staying in the shade during the most intense hours of the day and using a hat and protective clothing is recommended. Consult your doctor about use on babies.
